The following are screenshots from the episode in which Hawkmon first armor evolves into Shurimon, the "Samurai of Sincerity". In this episode, Digitamamon has been infected with a dark ring and is attacking the kids. Mimi tries to convince Digitamamon that was he is doing is wrong, but he head-butts her and drives her back. At this point, Yolei gets in Digitamamon's face and displays an unprecedented outburst of emotions. For the first time, she realizes how sincere her feelings are and this is when the Digi-Egg of Sincerity appears. Yolei uses the  Digi-Egg to evolve Hawkmon into Shurimon. Shurimon promptly defeats Digitamamon and removes the dark ring.  During Shurimon's transformation sequence, Palmon's evolved forms are shown in the background as a tribute to Mimi's Digimon.
